Plex browser download choppy audio

Thanks for your reply. Starting in Safe Mode has no effect on the hesitant playback. Microsoft Edge runs smoothly. Firefox depends on the Windows Media Feature Pack to play video. Sometimes this gets damaged during a Windows update, so I recommend reinstalling that pack and restarting your computer to see if that improves things.

The link to download the correct version of the Windows Media Feature Pack for your version of Windows can found in the Fix video and audio playback problems on Firefox for Windows document. I followed all the links, but near the end, I got a message: Update is not applicable to your computer. This morning, Wednesday, FF updated itself to version The problem has not yet been addressed. Where is about:config , and how do I read it? I have a copy of about config.

Just watched the video with firefox default and no playback issue. Are you using adblocker or addons that are causing the playback issue? If you open Firefox and type about:config in your Firefox address bar just like any other website, that will open the page that Ty is referring to.

This is crazy small value. It also means that during watching youtube your playback will be run on software decoder and video will be very choppy. I think your browser is corrupted or badly installed. I watched the same link and had no playback or stutter issues.

And this is with default settings with a userChrome. In all cases the videos now play completely smoothly. The audio is being transcoded but the video is direct play. I had the same issue. Basically, p will play all of these smoothly. There are only a few places that can cause this issue, and the Plex server is rarely it.

If the video is transcoding your machine may not be able to keep up. Is there a paid support option for Plex support?? Original story published on September 13, follows: Plex is among the most popular media streaming services across the globe.

The funny part is that occurs only in the beginning of stream, on TV or maybe my eyes are getting used to? But is always at the exact same sequence, as you can see. I encode all my videos with Handbrake, so all settings are identical for all movies. Now that I payed close attention, the important part is the jittering does not occur always, some videos have it, some don't? While playing from my Mac has no jitters at all.
